Naturalization

If you have lived in Japan for five years or more and have sufficient income to support yourself, you may be able to obtain Japanese citizenship. Filing for citizenship can go smoothly with our assistance. However before filing, you should consider the advantages and disadvantages of becoming a Japanese citizen. An advantage might be being able to bring your family to Japan. However, some people choose to stay on with Permanent Resident status instead so that they can maintain citizenship in their home countries. The Naturalization process requires considerable proof documentation, and it takes one year or more to complete.
